UNCUT GEMS Vintage is a mother-daughter venture that borns from our shared passion for fashion. 

My mother started manufacturing her own clothes as a hobby, selling hand-made pieces to her friends and family. After some time, she realized there was a market for her products and started her own brand - Fuensanta Vigueras - focusing in made-to-measure swimsuits for women and children. After 30-years she managed to have her own store in one of the best areas of Madrid and have a well-known national name in the industry. 

Hence, I grew up with huge exposure to this world, getting to know it from the inside - international fabric fairs, sample sales, fashion shows, vintage shops, etc. Little by little, and influenced by both my mother and older sister, I developed my own relationship with it - finding it fascinating the more I learned about it. Fashion is a way of communicating, of expressing who I am and how I feel - fashion for me is art, one that combines many other crafts such as architecture, sculpture and painting. And as an art collector, I have spent the past 10-years of my life collecting unique and incredible pieces that together with my mom’s own archive, we are happy to finally share with the rest of the world.
